March 13 Daylight Saving Time Starts
We try to post twice each year about the time change. It's a hard shift for our bodies to make, and this may help. As of March 13th, we need to spring our clocks ahead 1 hour. For many of us this time change wreaks havoc on our body clock! Might we suggest that until we can stop resetting our clocks 2 times each year, try this simple technique to lessen the disruption. About 2 weeks before the time change, start going to sleep 5-10 minutes earlier than usual. The next morning get up 5-10 minutes earlier as well. Continue going to bed and getting up earlier by 5-10 minutes each day, until you are getting up at the "new" daylight saving time. This gives your body more time to be in sync with the updated time.
