We just got our first Nature Bright Sun Joy.
It's a compact little light box that kicks out the sunshine. We like that it can be used as a light box and a task or hobby light too. Just be careful that you have it set to the appropriate setting. Most people only do light therapy with the 10,000 Lux setting in the morning for UP TO 60 minutes. Light therapy should not be done in doses throughout the day but in one dose at the desired time. This gives the brain the proper signals about when to stop making melatonin and start making seratonin. For most of us, the brain, without enough strong sunlight, is already making those 2 chemicals in fits and spurts and often at the wrong hour of the day. This little power house should help set the body clock (circadian rhythm) to the proper timing. Love this!
