No one loves waking up to a blaring alarm in the dark. Why not use a "dawn simulator" or a sunrise light to wake you up gradually with light instead! The light slowly intensifies to bring the body from deep sleep to wakefulness. If that doesn't wake you up, there is an audible alarm. This is far less jolting than a traditional alarm, as the room is filled with a lighted glow and your body is already in the lightest stage of sleep. Once you try this, you will never go back to a traditional alarm. The clock can also be used to help you wind down at night by starting at full brightness and slowly dimming. This signals your body to go to sleep. This is great for early risers, kids, shift workers and those who have trouble winding down or waking.
